I (Cam Lavers Designs owner of www.PepeprMills.ca) did the Oakville Waterfront Festival show this yearas part of the Artists Village.

What a mistake!

There was only one artist this year that was back to try again. After finding this out, I should have just packed up and left.

After enduring drunken vomiting teenagers, very little sales (people go there to eat cotton candy and drink), I was absolutely blown away by the fact that they charged my 3 helpers $15 each to get in to help me. Even after complaining, one of the board of directors says "That's not gonna happen" when I asked for the $45 back, and then turned her back on me and walked away.

Of all the artists I spoke to there, not one was planning on going back next year.
