Beginner Beadmaking - Level 1
$285 Inc Materials
Jan 21st - Feb 11th, Wed Evenings 6:30-9:30pm
Techniques - round beads, dots, stringer applications, feathering, raking, tubes & bicones, encasing, silver leaf

Beginner Beadmaking - Level 2
$285 Inc Materials (10% off for B1 Students)
Feb 18th - Mar 11th, Wed Evenings 6:30-9:30pm
Techniques - off mandrel, pendants, buttons, layers, sculptural, reactive glass, studio set up, safety & tools
* note: series includes a free 5th week on studio setup & safety

Intermediate Beadmaking - Level 3
$285 Inc Materials (10% off for B1 or B2 Students)
Mar 25th - Apr 15th, Wed Evenings 6:30-9:30pm
Techniques - ribbon cane, simple murinni, focal beads, multiple beads (for production), marbles, individual interest topics

Private Lessons - All Levels
$40/hr (min 3hr) or $235/day

Private Group Events and Classes
$95/person (min 5 people, max 8)
Gather your friends, family or co-workers and come play with fire and colour! A 3-hour intro class on glass beadmaking with teaching duo Amy Johnson & Jill Cribbin.

Take a glass beadmaking class with internationally recognized and award winning glass artist Amy Johnson in her home studio. Amy has taught and lectured throughout North America at various schools, studios and conferences, including the Glass Art Association of Canada, International Society of Glass Beadmakers, Fusion Conference, Sheridan College, George Brown College, The Living Art Centre Mississauga, The Bead & Button Show, Snow Farm the New England Crafts Centre, and many others.

Amy is a very patient teacher who likes to focus on technique helping students build the solid foundation they need to then explore and create their own designs building on elements from each class. Students receive handouts outlining various techniques, materials, equipment, safety and other important glass related topics.

Students also have the opportunity to come back and rent time at TANK allowing them to practice what they've learned and work on personal projects with supervision by Amy or Jill. $10/hr - for TANK students, Regular $15/hr.
