CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Silent Art Auction (December 7, deadline: November 28)
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS/DONATIONS:
Precious Gems and Cedar Ridge Creative Centre invite artists to donate work for a fundraising silent art auction. We are requesting donations of fibre art, jewelry, stained glass, photography, paintings, drawings, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, and works on paper. We'd like donations of small and medium-sized items that would be ideal for holiday gift giving.
The proceeds of the auction will benefit the community-based Precious Gems Project, which was established in the summer of 2005 to send young people who would not otherwise have the opportunity to camps specializing in the arts. Precious Gems seeks to help young people find their voices, self confidence, and creativity. Since its inception, Precious Gems has sent over 50 children to fine art camp.

The annual Wine Tasting and Silent Art Auction features tasty delights of classical catering, auction, wines, gift certificates and more. Dress in celebration of Halloween, the Victorian era or just dress to hit the town. The complimentary chocolate creations and beverages were well received by paying guests at the annual Chocolate Fantasy silent art auction and fund-raiser put on by Art Centric, which has been held for the past 15 years.
