The always active Tara Bursey of TZL wrote to invite y'all to submit some art for the library walls, as well as to let you know about a zine making workshop they are presenting as part of this year's Ladyfest. Read on for deets...
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
The Toronto Zine Library is on the lookout for zine-makers and artists who would be interested in exhibiting artwork in our library for monthly art installations, starting in October. We need to liven up our library! No more grubby white walls!
We are open to proposals of two-dimensional work, aka: drawings, paintings, collage, mixed media, original comics, etc. Three-dimensional works/installations might work too as long as they don't hinder people from navigating the library's collection...try us!
If you're interested, drop us a line with a bit about yourself, the type of work to you, and attachments/links to images of your work or your website, if possible.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
