A note from the sweet organizer of Hoopla!:

I would like to let you know about a special community craft event I'm organizing called "Hoopla!".

It is a one-day unique shopping/craft event of ONLY Canadian handmade and beautiful items by local artisans for mothers, babies & young children. Nothing imported or mass manufactured. It will be taking place on Friday, September 26th at the Lithuanian House at 1573 Bloor St. West. 10am to 6pm. It's right on the subway line, very easy to find, closest to Dundas West TTC station.

I'm really excited about it because there is nothing quite like this in Toronto- it won't be impersonal like some of the huge mom & baby shows, but more down-to-earth & comfortable size (just 32 select artists) kid and stroller friendly.

There will be free coffee, diaper change and nursing areas. A "handmade" playhouse area just for kids while moms can check out the artisans' work! In addition this will be a fundraiser for Sick Kids Hospital, admission is just $2 with 50% being donated to Sick Kids Foundation.

Sincerely,
Rima Macikunas
