GET SCHOOLED: sewing for the young'uns

The Sewing Studio is offering some workshops for kids and junior sewers:

Kids After School:
This after-school program is an excellent opportunity for your child to learn the basics of sewing while working on creative projects in small groups with other children their age. Our Kids After School class includes a snack and all fabric and supplies, and is open to children between the ages of 8 and 13. (Please contact us if your child is younger or older.)

Wednesdays, begins March 19th (runs for 7 weeks) 4-6 pm

Kids March Break Special: Same as below (Kids After School) but condensed into one week of March Break fun! This is the perfect way to keep your child happy and entertained, while learning new skill sets.

Monday - Friday, March 10th - 14th 12-3

Junior Fashion Series (March Break Boot Camp):

All of the glory of our original Junior Fashion Series (see below) but condensed into one week of awesome creating and sewing! This course runs from Monday to Friday 12-3 pm.

Junior Fashion Series:
This program is for style mavens who want to play with their creativity. It's a great starting point in the world of fashion and design or an easy progression of your sewing skills. Learn: sewing-machine basics, creative options for fashion design, different ways to embellish a garment and how to reconstruct an existing garment

Thursdays, begins March 20th (runs for 5 weeks) 4-7 pm
