Spins & Needles Craft + DJ Night rolls into the Big Smoke for another crazy party mixing music and crafts as part of its 3-year anniversary celebrations!
A fun way to start the Easter long weekend, creative types and nightlife-ers will participate in the unique experience of making stuff while listening to DJs spin funky beats in a hip setting. Instructions and materials will be on hand to create art/craft projects to bring home. Funky house and electro sounds provided by DJs Jason Pelletier (Ottawa), Kris Steeves (Toronto), Sicadelic (Moncton) with special guest DJ Will Munro, Toronto's infamous partystarter.
Spins & Needles Craft + DJ Night partners at this instalment with StreetKnit ( http://www.streetknit.ca/), a Toronto initiative that rallies knitters to create items to be distributed to homeless outreach programs across the city. Donations of hand knitted sweaters, hats, mittens and socks are welcomed at the night.
