CRAFTY BIZ: small business arts forum FREE

The City of Toronto, Economic Development, Culture, and Tourism Department is hosting its first Small Business Arts Forum on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the North York Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge Street, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The forum is free, however space is limited so register early. www.enterprisetoronto.com

The Small Business Arts Forum is a City of Toronto initiative, organized in collaboration with the Ontario Ministry of Culture, Ontario Ministry of Small Business and
Entrepreneurship, Toronto Artscape, Cultural Careers Council Ontario, Women in Film & Television, and others, to put together an inspiring and informative day of Empowering the Entrepreneur in the Arts.

The Forum will feature a full day of interactive programming with keynote presentation, informative roundtable "peer-to-peer" discussions, educational seminars and networking.

We are anticipating approximately 150 attendees, including those who are either budding entrepreneurs or existing entrepreneurs in the arts industry, at this exciting event. Our goal is to develop and enhance business skills in the arts community, promote entrepreneurship, and bring together individuals and businesses to network and expand their circle of contacts.
