STUDIO/RETAIL SPACE: artscape @ the distillery

A note from Wendy, Assistant Manager of Tenant Services at Artscape:

We are seeking applications from enterprising visual artists and craftspeople. This is an opportunity to lease a retail/work studio space at an affordable rent. The studios are designed for people interested in selling their work from the space they create it in. The Case Goods Warehouse contains four floors of artists and artists work studios.

The specifics of the space are:

Located at 55 Mill St., Case Goods Warehouse (Distillery District)

Retail/work space – Ground floor available

330 Useable square feet

Western exposure

2007 monthly rent is $635.88 month all inclusive

Available May 1, 2008 (possibly available March 1, 2008)

This studio is intended for either an individual or collective of artists and is ideal for the production of work and sales and can be used to conduct small workshops. Tenants have 24-hour access to their studio but are also expected to maintain regular business hours for public access, Wednesday to Sunday 11am - 6pm.

Interested parties are required to submit a letter of intent, including your concept for the space and business objectives, to be presented to a retail selection committee.
