scavenger was getting a little discouraged with the new toronto craigslist section for arts & crafts, as many craft-related posts were showing up throughout the online classifieds. so she decided to round up some crafty used items from the other sections:

• stainless steel table, with drawers $100 - perfect height for cutting fabric or working standing up
• sewing machine table, $75 - looks like solid wood?
• craft/work table, $25 - industrial look, what a steal!
• size 8 dress form, $500 - your new buddy judy
• ultra-fancy janome sewing machine, $1750 - a splurge for a craft professional?
• kenmore sewing machine, $70 - simple
  
• re-use or re-purpose vintage architectural and building supplies
  
• hand-knit sweaters to support an orphanage in nepal, $40
  
• instant craft & design book library, $300 - six boxes of new books
  
• d.i.y. furniture painting book, $24

wanted:

• sewing lessons - in exchange for your choice of: guitar lessons, website and graphic design services, a piece of furniture or a lamp out of my antique or mid century modern collection, furniture restoration services, a puppet show.
• clean out your craft room and help out some local students by donating your sewing supplies and materials

encourage swapping, re-using and thrifting by posting your craft-related items and buying from the craigslist arts & crafts section.
