CRAFTY HAPPENING & SHOW: fidoodle @ planet kid and QWAC
Susan forwarded me this email from Jen Bulthuis of AlleyJaunt, who also runs a business called Fidoodle, "a design and production company building artful objects out of sustainably harvested wood, organic cottons, sheep wool, and recycled fabric":
Hi everyone!
Thought you might like to know about [some] Fidoodle events happening in the next week!
Most importantly, on
Thursday night September 13th 6pm-9pm
We're having a Fidoodle launch party at Planet Kid 960 Queen St. West.From 6-7:30 in collaboration with Cardboard Heart Imagination Laboratory, kidscan make their own character on a wooden "puzzle puppet" and then at 7:30 peoplecan help their puppet perform or tell their puppet's story.
Stay for a bit and have drink under a canopy of trees (inside) and take a lookat some new Fidoodle work! Including the long awaited Icarus puzzle.
then on Saturday and Sunday come and visit my booth at the Queen St. West art crawl in Trinity Bellwoods park. I'll be at booth will be Orange 2 #27
