the soft city needs you

The Soft City is looking for volunteers to help facilitate child centered workshops and to be involved in our plush city at the CNE from August 17 - 23. And to help during the entire run of the CNE until Sept 3rd.

If you or someone you know is interested in working along side an amazing bunch of people and interested in the intersection between urban politics, craft and design. Those whom are interested should send an email to the volunteer coordinator at: info@thesoftcity.org

About the project:
The Soft City is an ongoing plush and felt city that is made by both children and the imaginative. It has been exhibited at the Power Plant, Fort York, The Gladstone Hotel, as part of Doors Open, and in the fall will be at Toronto City Hall. This year we are exhibiting the work at the CNE, in a partnership with the Design exchange and the Art Gallery of Ontario, where we will be running child and family focused workshops. The public will have the opportunity to contribute to our ever-growing city. The entire city will also be exhibited.
