MADE will hold an open house on Saturday, 8th September, 11 am to 6pm. The open house is an invitation to the public to come celebrate the first birthday of MADE.

Within their first year MADE has grown to represent the work of over 60 exceptional designers from backgrounds that range from industrial design to fine craft and architecture to fine art.

There will be opportunity to view an installation of new work by emerging design talents, VEST Collective. The exhibition “A VEST Guide to Smuggling” launches a new series of designs available in limited editions. The works explore the notion of illicit trade, dodging customs and prized goods. Visitors will also be treated to new furniture, lighting and home accessories from Molo and Propellor Design from Vancouver and Bev Hisey, Studio Thout and MADE all based in Toronto.
