detroit urban craft fair

We met the lovely ladies of Handmade Detroit ("a loose collective for people who like to make stuff", producers of the Detroit Urban Craft Fair, Sunday Crafternoon, and the Handmade Detroit Holiday Market) at Craft Congress 2007. Lish & Steph seem to have endless energy and enthusiasm for nurturing and promoting the local craft scene, as well as putting on events well worth the trip over the border (fyi Detroit is but a 4 hr drive from Toronto). The deadline for participation in the Detroit Urban Craft Fair is coming up shortly and I would encourage people to apply - from all accounts it's a great show & fun time! If you make it in, let me know because I'll be there myself.
