Hi everyone,

Spring has finally arrived and so has our summer collection of deliciously soft cotton, silk, llama and merino wool in a dazzling selection of fresh colours. It’s time to get started on a new seasonal project! As always, classes are free and drop-in, so no need to register but space is limited, so be sure to arrive early to guarantee a spot.

Quick & Easy Cotton Hoodie

Why make an ordinary scarf? Create this original hooded shrug and learn to knit at the same time! It’s a great beginner project but open to anyone who just wants to knit up an awesome little piece for spring. You will learn how to cast-on, cast-off, knit, purl and join seams invisibly. Best of all, you'll walk out wearing your project!

4 hours (2 two-hour sessions)
Sunday April 29, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Sunday May 6, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Cost: Materials only

Cozy Cotton Raglan

This project launches us into spring and summer. It’s simple, quick…and impossibly soft! Create this cozy cotton raglan sweater while customizing it for your length and size – make it short, long or even as a dress. You will be learning the most sensible approach to creating raglan sleeves, which can be applied to any project you make in the future. At the same time, we will be introducing the "kitchener rib" cast-on and cast-off method in order to create a more professional ribbed edging.

Skill level: This project is suited to anyone who is already comfortable with casting-on, casting off, knit and purl stitch.

4 hours (2 two-hour sessions)
Sunday May 13, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Sunday May 20, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Cost: Materials only
