CNE arts & crafts pavillion - your feedback, please

TCA reader Lara is wondering if anyone has sold their crafts in the Arts and Crafts Pavillion at the CNE. She's curious what it's like to sell there, and would like to know about the general quality of goods on offer - i.e. can you expect to find mostly trash or treasures?

Please leave your comments on this post, or if you prefer to remain anonymous-ish , email your feedback here. Thanks!

This is in response to Lisa who was asking about the CNE. I've never
done it but I have herd trough the crafty grapevine that people who
shop there are looking for deals. Also the shoppers are not looking
for anything too artsy or "wierd". So i guess it depends on what kind
of stuff she is planning on selling.

As a yearly CNE visitor, I can say that I wouldn't put too much stock in finding any treasures in the Arts and Crafts building and I wouldn't waste my time putting a booth together to sell my things. The clientele, remember, spends their money on midway rides that are one bolt away from disaster and fatty foods. I do not get the impression people that there a lot of people with disposable incomes.
