A unique opportunity for Toronto's creative community to make lasting connections, get inspired and explore urban existence under unusually funtastic circumstances!
NYC Roadtrip is not your typical travel service. Artist-run, community-focused and tailored for the artist's budget - and informed by relational aesthetics, psychogeography and DIY culture - it is multiform, theoretically and practically. It is a unique opportunity for creative adventure-seekers to network, get inspired, workshop special projects, conduct field research and explore everyday urban life beyond its usual context; to experience the non-tourist side of New York City and all its boroughs; to plug into a vibrant community of creative travelers; and, overall, to gain invaluable, lasting life-insight.

After each NYC Roadtrip, passengers and crew alike reunite to participate in a multimedia group exhibition that explores individual and collective perspectives on various New York City-inspired subjects, such as mapping, travel as risk-taking, wanderlust, the meta-architecture of street art, the city as playground, and urban myth-making.
