Fiona Ellis, renowned knitwear designer, will present an informative talk on changing trends in knitwear over the twentieth century and lead a workshop featuring interesting methods of increasing and decreasing stitches to change the shape of the piece and to create decorative effects. In demand internationally as a designer and speaker, she is also the author of Inspired Cable Knits (2006), Knitspiration Journal (2006) and Inspired Isle Knits (2007). www.fionaellisonline.com
