call for submissions: whodunit? OCAD mystery art sale

Via Akimbo

Be part of the mystery!

The Ontario College of Art & Design is accepting donations of work for the OCAD Whodunit? Mystery Art Sale!

Submission deadline: October 15, 2007

After only five years the Whodunit? OCAD Mystery Art Sale, Ontario College of Art & Design's signature fundraiser, has established itself as one of the city's favourite art events. The support of the OCAD community for Whodunit?, whose entire proceeds go to support the university, is simply outstanding.

Whodunit? will run this year from November 21 to 24, and we've already begun distributing the artist packages. We hope that you will want to be part of this great event and that you will begin by registering through our new online submission form at https://secure.ocad.ca/whodunit/mystery_artist.php. Once you have registered, we will send you an artist package and ask that you return your completed work by October 15 to the 3rd floor of 115 McCaul Street, Toronto.

All 2D work should be 5-1/2" by 7-1/2", and 3D work should be no more than 3/4" in depth. All work must be signed on the back only (this keeps the identity of the artist a secret until the piece is purchase). An acid-free card, generously donated by Aboveground Art Supplies, is available for use as a background or as a template.

Submissions can be (but are not limited to):

Drawings
Paintings
Illustrations
Prints
Photographs
Textile or beaded works
Ceramic, metal or wood pieces
